Multiplication Timed Tests

Students are required to correctly answer 25 problems in one minute and fifteen seconds in the third grade. Please use flashcards, computer games, etc. to practice these at least 10 minutes a night at home.

Here is the schedule we will follow:

Before Christmas-
Week of November 22- 0's, 1's, & 2's
Week of December 2- 5's & 10's
Week of December 9- 4's
Week of December 16- 8's

After Christmas-
Week of January 6- 3's
Week of January 13- 6's
Week of January 20- 12's
Week of January 27- 9's
Week of February 3- 7's
Week of February 10- 11's

Students will be allowed to make these tests up during intervention in the afternoons.

Each child will receive a multiplication table chart with all the facts through 12X12.  They will color in the facts they pass off on each week.  They will also receive a husky paw print out for each fact passed off to color and keep in their math journal. Even if students pass off on certain facts, they need to continue to practice them.  Mastery will only come with practice.
