Week of March 31st

Math: This week we are beginning our unit on fractions.  We will study fractions of a whole, fractions of a set, and fractions on a number line.

Fluency:  Please continue to have your child study multiplication fluency each day.  Even if your child has "passed off", he or she needs to continue to practice their facts.

Dreambox: If your child is absent on a Tuesday, he or she will need to do an additional 30 minutes of dreambox at home.  We go to the computer lab each Tuesday to complete the required school time of dreambox, which is 30 minutes.  Your child is graded each week based on the time he or she has spent on dreambox.  It is counted as a homework grade in the gradebook.

Science:  This week we will begin a unit on natural disasters.
